Chocolate Espresso Milkshake

Chocolate Espresso Milkshake

It seems like every Sunday, Jon and I are craving a Chocolate Espresso Milkshake. It just so happens that the burrito/coffee shop (yes, they have both specialty coffees and burritos…yes, it’s amazing!) where we get them is closed on Sundays (as a lot of local Southern businesses are). So what do you do? What I always do…figure out how to make them ourselves at home!
What could be better than ice cream, coffee, and chocolate? Not much if you ask me! It’s so good, Jon and I argue who’s going to get the last drop when we split a Chocolate Espresso Milkshake. It’s pretty easy to make too!

It’s truly an amazing milkshake bursting with espresso and chocolate!

Ingredients:
3 cups Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
Chocolate sauce/syrup (I don’t measure the amount, I just eyeball it. Use however much you like)
Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Maraschino cherry (optional)

In a blender, combine the ice cream, espresso, and chocolate sauce/syrup.

Blend until smooth according to the blender’s manufacturer’s instructions.

Pour the Chocolate Espresso Milkshake into a glass and top with whipped cream and cherry. Sprinkle the chocolate sprinkles over the top to make it look cute and fancy!
Cheers!
