Rib Rub

Rib Rub

I absolutely love barbeque.  I love roasting a rack of ribs and smothering them with some great barbeque sauce.  One of the keys to good barbeque, is a good meat rub.  This rub can be used on pork shoulder roast for pulled pork, and even on chicken!

Ingredients:

½ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon ground white pepper

1 teaspoon ground mustard

½ teaspoon Durkee Grill Creations New Orleans Style Old Hickory Seasoning 4.6 Ounce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon ground paprika

½ teaspoon ground cayenne

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Makes about 1 cup of rub. Store leftovers in an air-tight container.
