A delicious boozy cherry dessert with a yummy crisp topping

Ingredients
Whiskey Cherry Filling Ingredients
4-6cupsfresh cherriespits and stems removed and discarded
1/2cupsugar
1/4tspsalt
1/4cupflour
1splashvanilla extract
1/4cupwhiskey
Crisp Topping Ingredients
1/4cupsugar
1/4cupbrown sugar
3/4cupflour
4tbspmelted butter(or 1/2 stick)
Instructions
Combine the Whiskey Cherry filling ingredients and gently toss to combine.
Pour the filling into a pie pan
Combine the Crisp topping ingredients and stir to combine well. The mixture should be crumbly.
Sprinkle the Crisp topping over the Whiskey Cherry filling. Distribute evenly
Bake in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool before serving. Be extremely careful as dessert will be hot. Use your oven mitts!
