¼ cup roasted red bell pepper (from a jar is fine), diced
½ tsp dried dill
½ tsp granulated garlic
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp parsley flakes
¼ tsp Old Bay Seasoning
⅔ cups panko breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil
4 sandwich buns
Your favorite burger toppings, such as: Sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onion, mayonnaise, tarter sauce, etc.
Instructions
Using a fork, pull the salmon away from the skin. Place the salmon into a mixing bowl. Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir until combined. Form into four patties.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet on medium-high heat. (You want enough oil to come up about ¼ of an inch in the skillet.) To test the oil to make sure it’s hot enough, sprinkle in a few breadcrumbs. If they sizzle, the oil is ready. Reduce the heat to medium.
Gently place the patties into the oil. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown on each side.
Serve the Salmon Burger on a sandwich bun with your favorite toppings. I used lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise for mine!
