Slow-cooker Pulled Pork

Slow-cooker Pulled Pork

I love barbeque.  All kinds of barbeque, ribs, brisket, chicken, shrimp, and pulled pork!  I don’t have a barbeque smoker at home, so I use the slow cooker for pulled pork.  It slow cooks all day, and the pork is so tender you can shred it with a fork.

Pulled Pork:

3 lb boneless pork shoulder roast (Sometimes called pork butt.  Don’t worry, it’s not really from the butt!)

½ cup rib rub (see rib rub recipe)

1-12 oz can root beer

½ cup chicken broth

2 oz white wine

Cut pork roast into 2-3 inch chunks.
