Introducing, Slyh in the Kitchen!

Introducing, Slyh in the Kitchen!

Slyh in the Kitchen was started after a friend suggested that I should start a blog.  I would often (and still do) post pictures of meals I created on social media.  Many of my friends and family would ask for the recipes.  So I took the plunge and created this site to share my creations.

Most of my recipes have a Midwest and Southern influence.  I really enjoy making things from scratch.  I feel like there is more of a connection to your food when you’ve taken more time with it and seeing it take shape from the beginning. I enjoy being able to express my care and love for family and friends by sharing meals with them.  That’s why you’ll see many of the recipes being made from scratch.  Even if you aren’t doing everything from scratch, you’re family and friends will still appreciate the thought and care that went into creating something especially for them.

I hope you enjoy the recipes, and I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Happy Cooking!!!
